Request a Browsing or Research Appointment

Thank you for your interest in our work and in the important stories we steward. For the remainder of 2026 and throughout 2027, we are turning our attention towards processing our existing collections and creating a catalogue in order to increase accessibility at BALA and to better support community engagements & researchers in the long-term.

 

As a small, almost entirely volunteer run organization, this commitment to collections work means that our capacity to host visitors is currently limited. At this point, we are best able to accommodate casual browsing appointments, and are unable to support in-depth, long-term academic research. 

 

We are constantly striving to make our collections more accessible to our community, and we will do our best to accommodate you within our means. In order to best support our volunteers, appointments must be requested at least 2-3 weeks in advance by filling out the form below.
