BALA Community Meetings

BALA holds community meetings on Sunday afternoons every other month. The meetings serve many purposes. They’re an opportunity to hear about our progress developing the archives; to learn about upcoming events BALA is presenting; to get information about the ways you can volunteer and support the archives. We are also going to be featuring in the future, presentations of local speakers. We understand the importance of providing lesbian space (particularly for lesbians under 40), as there are currently very few spaces to physically gather. We are committed to being a space for intergenerational gathering for lesbian and queer women. We feel it is vital to have a place to meet and share stories of our lives.
