Snapshots at Frameline 2018

BALA co-presented the feature film Snapshots with NCLR (National Center for Lesbian Rights) at the Elmwood Theater in Berkeley and the Victoria Theater in San Francisco. Snapshots is a feature length narrative about three generations of strong women who come together for a weekend in their family cabin. The heart of the story is grandmother Rose, whose memories of “the love of her life” are revealed when some photos from the 1960s are discovered in a box in her daughter’s attic. This lush film features flashbacks, strong performances, lovely scenery and a beautiful score.
